So Takahashi is an Oslo based Japanese artist whose creative journey spans music, design, and the tactile world of furniture. Since releasing his first album with Carpark Records in 1999, So has crafted nine releases, including singles and 12-inches, blending soundscapes that resonate across promotional campaigns and museum installations. His new album Harmonic Distortion was released this autumn from Case Records, and another album under Takahashi & Lynch will be released early 2026 from Gymnocal Industries. For So, music is experiential design, a seamless extension of how he shapes not only sound, but also the physical and visual experiences around him.
