From ocean to orbit: the rocket that needs no launch pad
About
Daniel Cau Varming is founder and CEO of Space Lab, building Draken, Norway's first reusable rocket - launched from the sea, no pad, any orbit. He founded UiS Aerospace and flew five rockets and three engines in five years, co-founded NORSTEC, and now leads a 17-person team with two NASA veterans, backed by Skyfall Ventures and Startuplab. Phoenix 2 reaches space in 2027.
