About
As Sales Director at Isar Aerospace, Josef Wiedemann is responsible for Business Development and Sales with focus on strategic programs in Germany, Europe and their international partners. This includes launch services, critical launch infrastructure and commercial support of Isar’s future development roadmap. Josef has a strong background in European space transportation, both in the public and private sector. His functions included technical as well as management roles at DLR, ESA, and private industry from 2013 onwards, contributing to definition, contractualization, and implementation of programmes such as Ariane 5, Ariane 6, and related technology projects. He holds a Diploma Degree (equiv. to M.Sc.) from Technical University Munich in Aerospace Engineering.
