Mats is co-founder and CEO of Light Technologies and responsible for company strategy, fundraising, and business development, and has experience working closely with industry partners. He moved away from home (Oslo) to Nord-Trøndelag when he was 15 years old to pursue his ambition of becoming one of the world’s best cross-country skiers. He therefore brings a strong performance mindset developed through several years of competing at a national level as a senior athlete. In addition, Mats has broad work experience across different roles, giving him valuable insight into working with diverse people and solving a wide range of challenges. This has also made him a strong judge of character.
